Dying some eggs tonight with friends. I am only doing a dozen for now, still have another 3 dozen in my frigid.

I'm currently reading 'How to Knit a Love Song' and loving it. It is about a women who inherits a cottage on a guys farm and the story that happens between them.

Got to stop

Pissed off

I am not in that good of a mood tonight. I didn't have time to go running today because I have a funky schedule at work this week. Also at work one of my coworkers pissed me off. So the two of these things together have put me in a bad mood. I have all this excess energy and I want to go running so bad, but it is cold and dark. I feel like saying F*@K work I don't want to do this any more and just say home and paint. I don't like working at my job while watching other people there not do there job. I know there are going to be people like this were ever I go so I just want to say home and do my own thing. I found an new artist yesterday for inspiration Shawn Barber.

Wonderland

I had a lovely day off today and went to go see Alice in Wonderland. I liked it very much, it was beautiful, funny, and wonderful. I have since been looking around on the internet for a picture of one of the dresses that Alice wore in the movie. I liked the red 'Um' dress, but I really liked the small Alice dress the Hatter makes for her. I remember seeing a picture of it a while back on something about the movie, but now that I want to find it I can't. I found a few bad ones. I think this would be a good dress to try to make.

Alice

Alice in Wonderland scared the crap out of me when I was a little girl. It was the singing flowers that really got to me, which is a really weird thing to be scared of. Lately because of the new Alice in Wonderland I have seen Alice all over. I have seen some Alice and Hatter things from this artist that I follow on deviant art, but know it is every were. I think I want to go see the new Alice, my do that on my next day off. All today I have been thinking about Alice that was made for Syfy. I rented it mainly because I have been seeing Alice stuff all over. At first I thought it was all weird and Alice was not blond, but I loved it in the end. I was just like the Oz another Syfy movie that I loved, a classic story told with modern twist. Now I want to rent it again.

Some days

Some days there is just nothing on the internet, nothing to watch, nothing to do. But this all maybe because I am tired. Time for sleep I will figure out what I was to do with my day off in the morning.

Day off

I had a nice day off today. I watched two movies, one Bollywood one that I loved and then the Hangover which I hadn't seen before which was great and now I want to go to Vegas with my friends. I went out for lunch and did some shopping, but didn't buy anything. Took a nap, trying to catch up on my sleep. Also I am very proud of myself I went for two runs today. So why am I starting to feel like I wasted my day

Bollywood

Lately I have been tired of watching the same movies that I have seen over and over again, so to change things up I have started watching Bollywood movies. I love them they are what would happen if they had kept making musicals and made them like music videos. They are in Hindi so I have to watch them with subtitle, so some times I miss somethings because they go to fast or forgot to put that part in subtitles. I also get confused when they thrown in English words or phases. I can't figure out why it is in English or why it is not. The ones that I watch are generally funny and a little corny. I just got finished with one a little bit ago and was cranking up so much from it and I loved the songs, they make me want to dance.

Tombstone

My mom and me just have bad luck trying to stay in Tombstone. Last time there was a bikers convention and this time is spring break. Who knew going to Tombstone would be a big family spring break thing.



We visited the old courthouse, my mom is the one leaving in the picture.



My favorite part of walking around the courthouse was the saddle on a post that had an out of order sign on it.

We ended up saying in Benson at a hotel that we had staid at before. Maybe one day I will stay in tombstone. I really would like to the Bird Cage Theater.

Wow thats a big book

My current book that I am reading right now it The Count of Monte Cristo and loving it. I that seen the movie like many other books made in to movies, but never read the book. In high school my English teacher had this thing about reading current literature which was great, but I missed out on reading some of the classic. So every once in a while I pick up one to read.

I didn't know when I pick out the book that it would be so long. One thing about being a reader is a 591 page book doesn't scare me.

Wait, that's the end

I should be going to sleep now since I did not get much last night so this post is going to be short. I saw Dear John tonight, which was better than I thought it would be only one problem with it, the ending. They was no real ending. You don't know what happens to the two main characters and now I feel like reading the end of the book to see how it ends. I hate when movies do this.

The Irish in me is strong and I am dieing to go to A few people worry about me one day going to Ireland and never coming back. Jane Austen

Like most women I love Pride and Prejudice. I have read the book and have 4 different versions of the movie. I have my super edition of all of Jane Austen's books in one and I have three different version of Pride and Prejudice theme books. Recently got and read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. When I found the book at work I laughed and knew that I had to get it. I had seen the cover online, but just thought it was one of those joke things. I spent the rest of the day running around showing it to everyone. I have since lowed it out to a friend whose mother say it and said she wanted to read it after she was finished with it.

To night while looking around on the internet I have found more Austen books that I want to read like these ones.

Running

I did a lot of running around today, going to the gym, losing my sunglasses, going to Walgreen's to get film and electrical tape, returning a wrong idem a Dillard's, going to the bookstore, getting In-N-Out, and coming home and running. I got the Runner's Complete Guide To Running, but I am a little to tired to read it clearly right now. So far the part that I have read are good.

Photo Crazy

I don't know what it is, but right now I am really obsessed with photography. My book that I am reading right now is not helping this, the main character is a photographer. It keeps taking about here seeing different thinks and taking photos, it just makes me want to go gab my camera and do the same thing. Tomorrow I thing I am going to make a matchbox pinhole camera, I'm just going to use some of the old film rolls that I have had for awhile. I was happy to find that I have a matchbox to use too.

Last night I started to look a Holga cameras again. I don't really like modern photos they seem boring and flat to me. I am very interested in vintage photography. In photo 2 I fell in love with using 120 film and square images. The holga camera would give me the square images and the vintage fell that I really like. I found GoHolga a website with tutorials and tips for using the camera. I think this is going to be the next thing the I buy.

Rain

It rain again today, which was nice, but I didn't bring my jacket to work. It was windy and wet outside when I got out. All I wanted to do was go put on warmer clothes and hide under some blankets. Also because of the rain I didn't go running. I don't like running when it is cold. I have nothing to wear, but my flannel sleep pants which I just fill stupid running in. Also the cold air hurts my ears when I wear my mp3 player.

Pinhole photography

I have been really thinking a lot about photography lately, wishing I could get back into a darkroom my favorite part of the process, which has made me think about pinhole cameras. When I was in my photo 102 class we had this lady come in a talk to use about pinhole cameras and show us here beautiful photos that she had done in France. I really loved the whole vintage fill to the photos and was just amazed that something so simple could take pictures.

I have been thinking this would be a easy way for me to do so photography and dark room time at home. I have this big tin box that I got at the second hand store a while back to make into a pinhole camera, this would be making a paper negative and could only be used once and then I would have to go and develop it. Last night I was looking on the internet and pinhole cameras using film. I found a site with some really cool cameras and this one that I would love to have made by Chris Peregoy



Also found this site with a pinhole camera that I would like to make out of a matchbox. I hope that I have an empty film roll so that I can make it.

Gettting really into this blogging thing...

I only have one problem so far, sitting down and writing the blogs. All day at work I thought about what I might write about and then again when I came home. For the last half hour I have been looking at other peoples blog, that now I am getting to tired to think of something to write about in mine. Oh well guess I will just have to try again tomorrow.

Stumble!

I love stumble well most of the time. (stumble is a add tool to mozilla that takes you to random sites, I have fun trying to explain this to my mom all the time) Lately I have been using it a lot more, it is a great way to kill some time and find thinks on the web the you would not have found otherwise. Today's find The Bloggess a very funny and entertaining blog that I would like mine some day to be a little bit like. While I was reading one of her blogs I saw out of the corner of eyes a link that says "So basically I get paid to write about clown sex" and you can not want to go read this. It is a story about being asked to write for 'Sexis' magazine, which I then when to go read her column and it is great. I love her list of 'Top 10 weirdest things people have sent me this week' all I have to say is were do people find this things and who makes them. My favorite from the list is this video.

First Post to an empty blog

I'm just going to jump right into this none of the welcome stuff here. I'm currently working on making a header to use I have had a few ideas and am thinking I know what I'm going to go with at for now. Here is a pic of the work in progress

My printer printed the photo way to lite so the bottom right is were I has put back in the shadows using a cheap pen. It came out very well in the photo I think.

More later hopefully with a header too.
